Easily comply with Minimum Wage Ordinance 2011 using CanSoft HRMS!

Settings and implementation of minimum wage:

  • The Minimum Wage Ordinance (Cap. 608) commences on 1 May 2011
  • Attendance records are required for any employee whose salary is below HK$11,500
  • If the statutory minimum wage required (no. of working hours x HK$28) for the month is greater than the payable wage calculation, then the system will automatically calculate the additional remuneration that the employer has to pay.

  • Options available for user to decide which employee will or will not receive pay for the following:
    • Meal breaks
    • Rest days

Easily comply with Employment (Amendment) Ordinance 2007 using CanSoft HRMS!
  • The Employment (Amendment) Ordinance 2007 commences on 13 July 2007
  • The amendment applies to all employees who are monthly, daily or piece rated.  His relevant statutory entitlement shall be calculated on the basis of 12-month average wages.

  • The entitlement includes:
    • Holiday Pay
    • Annual Leave Pay
    • Sickness Allowance
    • Maternity Leave Pay
    • End-of-year Payment
    • Wages in lieu of notice
